a little craft to soothe the soul

thats right, there is nothing like a little craft to soothe the soul and I have sat my weary butt down at the craft table to create a few layouts, and it felt real good. I forget that i have so many stamps and i want to really start adding them into my layouts, so i decided to try a few out.

love how easy this journal block was to make - its just the centre from between the two brackets i cut out for this page - then i used my sassafrass lass stitching stamp for the lines - way to easy.

this is a double - really had fun with this and stamped the little men on acetate.

I still haven't cleaned up the scrap room - i am hoping that the secret cleaning fairy will come and do it for me - i guess it will be done when the time is right... can't rush these things.
i have been doing a bit of photoshop stuff for scrappin mel - hoping she likes what i created for her.. can't show unfortunately...

i have finally taken photos of the fabric box from the Creative sewing class that i took. Kerri came with and her box is in those delish fabrics on her blog - my fave colors - red and aqua. i decided to go with maroons for my box and i got to use up some of my silver beads too. I haven't totally finished it yet - i want to decorate the top of the box with a cut out appliqued flower and a few beads.

oh yes i did make this - and it wasn't too hard either - and guess what its not going to be another UFO in the craft room - i am going to use it to store all my pins in.
It's been a real lazy day here today - DH played golf and won some stuff, the peeps have been on the puter, watching tv and just lazing - me - i have been scrapping so that kind of therapy is doing me good at this point.

I hope you are all having a fun weekend, i might go take myself into the kitchen to bake some cookies - looks like DH is doing chicken curry for dinner - yum ....
till next time - behave and smile ...
