a heavy heart

Its funny how the most silliest of things weigh in on our hearts. This afternoon my beautiful little boy did the most silliest thing that has caused him to cry himself to sleep and has made me cry for him too...

While i was mowing the front lawn this afternoon he placed his nintendo computer game on the bonnet of my car in the garage and came out to play on the grass and ask if i wanted him to help - all was good - how considerate of him...

well we had to go and pick up DH from the car dealer as his car was going in for a service late this arvo... got home and old matey says he is bored and i say go play your nintendo - well we searched high and low for it for about half an hour....
then he was in tears and said to his father that he left it on the bonnet of the car and did not want to tell us as he thought he would be in trouble-- i go for a bit of a walk down the street and the people down the street let me know that they saw someone in a 4wd stop and pick something up about half and hour prior - bugger me - i went to the corner and found the cover for his nintendo --- well this was a huge lesson for this little fellow today - but he is so upset -and it breaks my heart as much as it has his - he really gets it -- and keeps saying i am sorry i wasted all that money mum .. i will give you my pocket money -- i am so livid at him but so sad- it was a really shitty thing to happen to him... he loves his computer game --- its "his" thing - his fave thing -- just like my scrapping and camera is mine - bugger, bugger, bugger.... tommorow we are going to type up some notes to go in letter boxes and hope that someone has picked it up and will return it - and to think i bought him a new puter game for xmas - bugger!!!

Okes back to the scrapping --- today i finished off two CJ layouts - and they have been posted off to donna -- so donna stalk the posty they should be there tommorow or wednesday at the latest...

All my xmas shopping is done - just gotta wrap -- bit of a bugger with old matey losing the nintendo cause that is what he has for xmas - a game and some speakers for it -- so he will be having a pretty bleak kinda xmas unless his DS lite is returned.

We had a fab weekend with family and friends coming over for a BBQ - yep and i had a late night and was worse for wear the next day - plus we had Dh work xmas party sunday and i was cactus - but had a good time -- i really have to remember i am not as young as i used to be - lol

until i blog again
stay safe and keep smiling

Poor old matey. My eyes welled up with tears when I read your blog this morning. I will happily remove his present from under my xmas tree and give him $$$ so he can save it towards a new one. Love the layout
