i've been up to...

lots of stuff but not really anything... hope that can make some sense...nope... well you are no better off than me i guess - cause i am still trying to work out why this year has gone by so quick.
Been busy with working, P&C stuff, gymnastics and life in general; I guess that is why they call this the silly season... i am going crossed eyed right now...lol.
We took a family holiday a few weeks ago down to Byron Bay - when we lived down that way we really never holidayed there - it was great to just kick back and relax for a week - goodness knows it was so hectic for all of us before we left - so some time out is just perfect - especially the calming effect of the Byron seabreeze. I didn't take much craft at all - was too rushed to pack it - but i found an arts supply store ...lol... check out my little corner of the cabin... or coffee table i should have said - i dont' think i have ever scrapped in such a small confined space. While down there we stayed with Grandma and Poppy for a night - the peeps had a ball.
Here's some pics i took;

The peeps made a swing in between the palms - i am so glad they are good friends on a good day...lol...

Miss Chicken having a bit of fun at Grandma's & Poppy's ...the old tricycle was in the shed -
i ran a vintage action with a few of my own tweaks over this one.

My little forager has been down by the waters edge collecting - i love the angle of this pic and it was without any tweaking - gotta love them coming outta the camera just perfect.

my two favourite men - love the intensity of the blue - i didn't have to photoshop this baby - its straight from the camera too - no photoshop - shock horror...

Whats a holiday at the beach without a beach race... i got the photo finish... it's 1 up for the girls

The peeps going for a body board - they caught some great waves.

In scrap news - My beach mini album was published in the latest Scrapbooking Memories Vol 10 no8 - how ironic we are holidaying at the beach when it came on sale. It's one of my fave mini albums that i have made so far.
I am looking forward to escaping up the coast with the girls of ScrapChat this weekend, Karen aka Gypsyangel always plans a fabulous retreat away - no fuss, no pressure and pure bliss, can't wait to catch up with some great friends and make some new ones...best get myself packing tommorow, i am gonna run outta time sooner than i think.
